Perhaps the most difficult stage :) Since we needed a family car, the whole family took part in choosing a car  Honda Civic 2008 1.8 EX Gray :) There was never a divine attitude towards the Honda brand. I just wanted the best car that could be bought for a certain amount of money. I consider it necessary to make a small comparison with classmates, i.e. what to choose from. (Note that there will be no assessment of the appearance of the car, because it is subjective) 1) Skoda Octavia in a new body. The most spacious interior, dimensionless trunk. In every detail there was a sense of quality and materials and workmanship ... ... an instant association - VW. I liked the interior and the panel, but nothing more. Qualitatively ... ... but not interesting. Another disadvantage of the model is the price, because there was only enough money for 1.6 liters. 102 forces, and for such a large car this is clearly an "overkill" in the bad direction. Why feel left out? The chassis clearly requires a motor more powerful ... ... twice. 2) Opel Astra. Nobody liked it. Not to say categorically ... ... but she had nothing to impress us with. The salon is boring and partly ugly, hewn some kind of ... in general Opel .... Until we got into the car, we thought it would be better :) 3) Ford Focus. In everything, absolutely in everything, the "cheapness" of the model is given out. Like a tuned Lacetti)) on large disks, all that)) (looked at top-end configurations) The car makes sense if its price is no more than 350-400 thousand. There is definitely no better in this price category! The rich configurations look EXTREMELY ridiculous. To nausea ... ... Let me explain why. It seems that the creators of the focus did not even suspect that they would try to shove so much minced meat into it! How dumb all these switches of all kinds of sensors look, as if glued to the steering column, and the whole car is like that! 4) Mazda Troika :) Probably many owners of Civic 4D guessed why there is a smiley :) Yes, because this is almost the only competitively capable (in our eyes) car! She made me think a little about the choice…. The salon is quite decent, but not very interesting and cramped…. The dashboard did not like its illumination, and it’s not very comfortable like that in the car …… So what did you like? The suspension is super! There are actually less rolls ... ..than a tsutsik: (The reactions to the steering wheel are very accurate, similar to those of Honda's! Or even sharper :)) But the landing behind the wheel and the "feeling" of the car is not very ... Engines ... And lastly - 2.0 is TOO expensive, it scared off Mazda the most. 5) Toyota Corolla is outright rubbish. In the previous body, it is really good! But new ... ... 1.6 liters. 124 strength - does not go at all !!! It's scary to think that there is grade 1.4 - a complete castrate! Salon - sad ... ..y ... ..from terrible plastic ... ..And another case! The first time, going to a Toyota dealer, I got into this Corolla and could not get out :))) the door lock jammed! We turn around, we leave)) ps For Toyota manufacturers, this is not a bias towards the brand, but only objectivity towards this model, here Avensis, a really cool device :) 6) 8C ... 7) Subaru Impreza. 1.5 liters was not considered, there was no money for 2.0, although, I think, the machine is very driver's ... ... but a very small interior and trunk. The body kit is a beauty. All-wheel drive is a huge plus.
